Berries—Strawberry Supplies remain extremely limited as fields are converted to freezer production due to quality conditions and reduced yields. Volume will not increase until the southern areas begin production over the next few weeks. Markets are increasing.

Asparagus Volume improvement is expected on both coasts after Labor Day. Smaller sizing prevails, and quality issues continue. Demand exceeds supplies across all sizes, with small sizes showing the most availability. The market is higher and exceeds historical levels for this period.
